What is a Small Works Contractor?

Contractors who meet the below requirements and provide small works services including construction, building, renovation, remodeling, alteration, repair or improvement of real property for participating public agencies utilizing the small works roster bidding process. The small works statute RCW 39.04.155 allows participating public agencies to use a small works roster system for small works projects under $300,000 instead of advertising for each project. Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Email Address
• WA Unified Business Identifier Number (UBI#)
• Federal Tax ID#
• Active Department of Revenue account
• Employment Security # (if you have employees) Contractor License
• Contractor License
• Additional Licenses (e.g. electrical)
• Bonding Company (or ability to obtain a bond)
• Pay Prevailing Wages
• Liability Insurance
