Small Works Contractor Common Questions
What is MRSC Rosters? MRSC Rosters is an online shared contractor roster and consultant roster for local Washington State governments/agencies (counties, cities, fire districts, school districts and other special districts) to maintain, search for and solicit bids from contractors and consultants. Specifically the contractor roster is for small public works projects $300,000 and under.
How is the Shared Small Public Works Roster - MRSC Rosters, different from an individual roster? Multiple agencies share the cost of maintaining the roster and it allows contractors to market their services to multiple agencies in one application process.
Do I have to reapply for MRSC Rosters every year? No. A year from the date your company's account was verified, you will receive a renewal notice. At that time we will ask that you confirm that the information is still accurate and make payment if you choose to utilize the Enhanced Option for another year.
Where are the project jobs posted on MRSC Rosters? Just like any roster system, jobs are not posted; agencies directly contact contractors with requests for bids when they have a specific project. Contractors then respond to that agency. MRSC Rosters provides the system but does not have any participation in the bidding process.
How do agencies contact me? Generally agencies will contact you via email so make certain that you have typed the address correctly and that you frequently check the email account.
How often will agencies contact me? How many jobs will I get? It is up to each individual agency how much they use the system, however when an agency joins, they will only be using MRSC Rosters as their small public works roster so they will be using it as much as they would have been using their individual roster.
